Investment Analyst

 

Investment analyst will assist in the identification and vetting of new investment opportunities. Daily activities will include but are not limited to:

 

• conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data, and visiting companies and speaking with member of senior management;

• analyzing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements;

• keeping up to date with market and economic developments and considering how they might affect the performance of companies/industries;

• monitoring the financial news using various sources;

• financial modeling and database management/creation;

• drafting and writing research reports for internal and client use;

• making investment recommendations and articulating the thesis and risk/reward dynamics;​

• traveling to visit companies and attend industry conferences;

• ensuring that all compliance regulations are met;

• various ad-hoc projects.

Required education/experience:

 

• Undergraduate degree;

• 3+ years experience.
